Probably, this is for the first time that I’m writing something about a movie… J
But I guess I should…after all, Movie is a form of art….and Art, is a lie that makes you realize the truth….Isn’t it ???
When I went for this movie, I thought it’s a comedy, and that’s what it seemed to everyone in theatre…a comedy. To summarize it a little, it’s a story of a couple who were in a live-in relationship with no strings attached and they separated for certain reasons related to our 21st century’s most commonly used word called “practicality” … he he…then it took a long while for them to realize the fact that they really love each other and they should live together, forever…
All this while they tried their level best to get rid of their “unwanted” feelings for each other…they tried their best to deny the fact that they were really in love with each other. All this time I could hear people laughing out loud on every second minute of the movie, wherein, I couldn’t laugh much….may be I’m a lil boring kinds…but for me, Art still remains a lie that makes us realize the truth…and the truth of the generation is, we all are being so damn practical and money minded that love has really taken a backseat and people live in a denial if they encounter any such feeling in themselves. The only time I felt that this movie was really nothing too great, was when they changed the entire story line towards the end…Just because a story has to have a happy ending, the girl and the boy gets together around the last few minutes of the film…which is something I hardly see in real life…
Its a very old proverb and I can’t recall who said it, but they say “you can judge a person’s position with his shoes”….I have a doubt, how do we judge a person, whose judgment starts from a shoe, and ends with it?? … But you know it’s a fact today, people judge people with the amount of money they keep in their wallet, but not with his morale values or strengths or abilities…
And that’s what makes me think…how do I judge people whose judgment starts from my shoe, and ends with it??….think about it!!
